$27.00

‘In Good King Arthur’s Day’ was recorded in Melbourne and launched at the 1994 Port Fairy Folk Festival. The Album came about when Graham met up with a long time friend, Annie Lucas (nee Griffiths) who wanted to know why he had not recorded an album of the many arrangements of traditional songs he had been performing in the 70s.

Claire Dodsworth (nee Peters) sings on BRUTON TOWN, IN GOOD KING ARTHUR’S DAY, RYEBUCK and FLOWERS OF THE FOREST (spelt fleurs on the cover), Andy Reid plays clarinet on BRUTON TOWN, Michael Losin plays fiddle on JACK O’RION, Michael Vidale plays bass on MARYBOROUGH MINER, Peter Anderson plays tin whistle on RYEBUCK and accordion on FLOWERS OF THE FOREST, Graeme Witt plays keyboard (with harpsichord sample) on LITTLE MUSGRAVE and Lynn Muir, Jenny Simpson, Denis Tracey and Graham sing harmonies on LITTLE MUSGRAVE . Extra Harmonies at the demise of THE CONVICTS LAMENT ON THE DEATH OF CAPTIAN LOGAN are sung by Graham Dodsworth.
